Workspace settings
Settings is the control panel for your workspace and your personal account. It's organized into tabs, each covering one area. This page is the map; a few tabs have their own deep-dive pages linked below.
You reach it from the sidebar under Admin → Settings.
The tabs#
| Tab | What it covers | Detailed page |
|---|---|---|
| General | Workspace name, slug, plan, workspace ID, deletion | (this page) |
| Account | Your profile photo, name, and sign-in email | (this page) |
| Notifications | Channels and per-event alert preferences | Notifications |
| Models | Default and backoff model, bring-your-own-key | Models & BYOK |
| Security | Two-factor auth, password, active sessions | Authentication & 2FA, Sessions |
| API Keys | Programmatic access (coming soon) | (this page) |
General#
The General tab holds workspace-level configuration:
- Workspace name — shown in the sidebar and on reports. Owners and Admins can rename it; for everyone else the field is read-only with a note saying so.
- Slug — the workspace's short identifier (read-only).
- Plan — your current plan, with a Manage → link into Billing.
- Your role — the role you hold in this workspace.
- Workspace ID — a copyable identifier, handy for support requests.
At the bottom is a Delete workspace card. It permanently removes agents, threads, and data and cannot be undone.
Workspace deletion is Owner-only and is currently pre-release — the control is present but disabled, and lights up when the backend endpoint ships. If you need a workspace removed today, contact support.
Account#
The Account tab is your personal profile, independent of any workspace:
- Profile photo — click Change photo and upload a PNG, JPG, or WebP up to 5 MB.
- Full name — edit and Save. This is the name teammates see.
- Email — your sign-in identity, shown read-only. It can't be changed here.
Some account controls (avatar upload, profile update) are pre-wired to backend endpoints that may still be shipping. If one isn't live yet, you'll see an amber note explaining it will start working automatically — nothing is broken on your end.
Notifications#
The Notifications tab controls how Syntrum reaches you — email, desktop, and Slack channels, plus a matrix of which events notify you on each. It has its own page: Notifications.
Models#
The Models tab sets which AI model your agents run on (a default and an automatic backoff) and lets you bring your own provider keys so usage bills to your accounts. See Models & BYOK.
Security#
The Security tab is where you turn on two-factor authentication, change your password, and review your active sessions. Each has a dedicated page:
API Keys#
The API Keys tab is for programmatic access — keys your own tools can use to trigger agents, read reports, and receive events.
API Keys is marked "Coming soon." The tab is visible but not yet enabled. When it ships you'll be able to create named keys (shown once at creation), see when each was last used, and revoke them.
What's next#
- Team & roles — who else can change these settings.
- Notifications · Models & BYOK · Authentication & 2FA — the deep dives.
- Billing — plan and payment, from the Manage → link.
